Its a New Century

When I was a kid, my parents taught me the same formula for success that you probably learned: Go to school, study hard, and get good grades so you can get a secure, high-paying job with benefits and your job will take care of you.
But that’s Industrial-Age thinking, and we’re not in the Industrial Age anymore. Your job is not going to take care of you. The government will not take care of you. Nobody’s going to take care of you. It’s a new century, and the rules are changing in the world especially in this our dear country Nigeria. In fact, the rules have changed.

Many thought their retirement plans were safe. As it is turning out, everything could go wrong. The pensions, job security, retirement security, it’s all IndustrialAge thinking. We’re in the Information Age now, and we need to use InformationAge thinking. Unfortunately, people are still not listening and not even ready to learn. It’s a shame that its going to take suffering and hardship to bring the lesson home, but at least the lessons will hit home.If you’ve spent years(1year, 2years or more) climbing the corporate ladder, have you ever stopped to notice the view? What view, you ask? The rear end of the person in front of you. That’s what you get to look forward to. If that’s the way you want to view the rest of your life, then this blog probably isn’t for you. But if you are sick and tired of looking at someone else’s behind, then stay glued on.
